Voidwright
You're mapping a void, and the void is closing in.
Moving clears a little space around you, but that isn't how you make progress.
You chart the void by trailing a line around an area and closing the loop - everything you enclose gets claimed onto your map, and scores.
Beacons sit hidden out in the dark. Chart the ground one stands on and it lights. Light every beacon in a leg and you break through to the next one, deeper down.
Three things out there will end you. Cross your own trail and it kills you. Let the dark box you in and the run is over. And rocks drift through the black, unlit until your light finds them - a red mark warns you when one is close, and running aground ends you just as fast.
Each leg you clear, you draft a boon to help, or a pact that gives you more but takes it back later. It only tightens the further you go.
Runs are endless. A daily seed drops everyone into the same layout to compete on.
Something out there has been watching you chart. It may take a few runs before it does anything about that.
How far can you chart before the dark closes over you?

This is honestly an incredible game. I had so much fun playing it once I figured it out. The music made at runtime is really impressive too.
The only runtime stuff are the sounds for the ship etc, music came from white bat audio! But thank you so much for playing the game! >3
